Random Item Wednesday - More Cowbell!

Oh, the poor cowbell. Once it was (probably) a heralded instrument of folk music and 70s soft rock, an instrument that had respect (or something like it).

Now, thanks to one very popular "Saturday Night Live" skit, it has been relegated to the bottom of the music food chain, below even the lowly egg shaker. But still, we can't help but smile whenver we hear the words "More cowbell!"

Random Item Wednesday - For Those That Do Extreme Writing

What's so cool about today's random item? Well, it's Original Astronaut Space Pen that can write from any angle (even in zero gravity) AND it write in extreme tempertures, from an Artic -30F to 250F!

Ok, so that stuff is actually kind of cool, but it's also actually pretty pointless. Unless you're an astronaut (which was the original use for the space pen) or an explorer that's cavorting around in hazardous climates, who really needs a pen with those features?

Random Item Wednesday - Hey, I'm Missing A Piece

We selected today's random item simply because we honestly didn't know things like this existed before today. It's the Puzzle Roll-Away Mat, designed to expertly store you unfinished puzzles!

Now, we can appreciate that there are some hard-core puzzle lovers out there who might find this handy, but here's our sticking point: Wouldn't these puzzlers have a designated spot for their puzzles so they wouldn't have to move it if company came over?

And if you're a casual puzzler, well, you probably didn't care that much about completing the puzzle anyway so, back in the box it goes! So, you can see why we're confused as to who, exactly, needs a puzzle storage mat. But hey, if you fall into that category, it can be yours for just $10.50! Today's item is this heavy duty machete. According to the manufacturer, it's great for surveyors, construction workers, landscapers, hikers... anyone that needs to clear off weeds or brush.

However, when it comes to a machete like this, we can really only think of one use. Use it to do your best impression of this guy. (Hey, Halloween is coming up in a few weeks!)
