It's the SAFE Instructional Self Defense DVD featuring Paul Vunak! Yeah, we haven't heard of him either, but apparently he's a world-renowned expert in the art of hand-to-hand combat, and his "fighting systems" can get you out of 95% of street confrontations.
Once again, it's not that we think self defense isn't important. We whole-heartedly believe people should know how to defend themselves in a fight. But, we just have to wonder, how did this DVD get grouped in to the collection of items that Dealomite sells? And how many people really learn self defense from a DVD rather than a class at the local YMCA or karate studio?
And, maybe it's just the cheesy and totally 90s-looking photograph on the front, but we think we'd have a hard time taking this guy seriously. We have a feeling this instructional DVD might look a little something like this:
